Writing on writing...

In the last few days, I've spoken with TWO (2) writer friends who weren't writing enough.
I sent them BOTH here,  www.blogger.com and suggested they just start writing.  (Under an alias name to calm their shyness.)I mentioned I already had some blogs there.

THEN I THOUGHT...
I haven't blogged there in a long time.  Why? (silence replied)
So, here I am - blogging my head-top thoughts
                   - with no goal envisioned - yet.

Thanx,
DRiX

OPB on riding Mountain Bikes

What was once dangerous became safe - as we thought about it.
As safe as you make it.

How to ride bikes in the air on wooden trails.
They invented it in Canada, and now do it in OREGON - O REGON - ORE GONE - OH REAGAN - O ARE WE GONE!

It's an amazing concept. So - here it is to view now: http://www.opb.org/programs/ofg/videos/view/312-Freeriding Enjoy and Inspire up~!

Bathtub Thoughs - Number 1 2 1

I want to be able to get closer to where I am.

i.e., (or is it e.g.,) like in writing this thought to this page in this blog.

I want to have shortness between thought and completion. In this case - writ it dun.

ONCE upon a time...
Now is a time.
You are here NOW once (then you move to there)
So ONCE UPON A TIME... is really NOW!

COLLECTING all our thoughts on LIFE, then LIVING IT.

A brilliant man named E.O.Wilson is called the father of sociobiology. He was asked, what last wish would you like to have?

WILSON answered: "The search for life, to understand it and finally above all to preserve it. That is my wish and let us call it the Encyclopedia of Life. A digital on-line encyclopedia of every single living species on earth. Scientists and laymen everywhere could refer to it, and would be encouraged to contribute to it. It would start out as a scientific compendium of everything we know about a given species, and become a magnet for new information… immediately translated into most languages, open and free to everyone, from first graders to biologists in the field or in the laboratory."

WHAT A WONDERFUL MIND - HERE IS a 30 minute interview with him.
Sit back, open your mind, and listen to pure wisdom on LIFE itself. It is enthralling...
Thanx,
DRiX - (my little i is here too)

IF I CAN'T EMBED IT HERE - then click this link and go there. IT IS ENTHRALLING.

NOW WHAT? HULA or HULU for YOU?

I promised I'd write in here more, then I didn't. I think and discover great things I'd like to share, but putting them HERE is remembered too late. Like just before I fall asleep. But not today!!

Today I'm putting something here that will inspire me to more to the next post.

I'd like to show you a new website that crosses the lines between INTERNET and TV. It's produced by a third party that has created a website and a special VIEWER that lets you view most FOX and NBC produced TV programs on your computer. It's best to have a broadband connection, but they are streaming with better quality than my TV here. Check it out, it's called http://hulu.com/ . It's FREE (ad supported) but if you do a free registration (name and pw and I think Email) you can watch anything higher than G rated.

PLUS - one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES -Koyaanisqatsi - is there too. This is amazing because it's a very rare movie.

It's produced by Francis Ford Copola, and it's intensely visual (not violent or sexy but - intense and illuminating) and you'll need to see it a few times to not be overwhelmed with the music and visuals.

Let's see if I can add a link to the movie right here! http://www.hulu.com/koyaanisqatsi

Save this link on your puter to watch it later too - there's a lot going on - and NO WORDS - just music!

Thanx,
DRiX
